Adviser appointed to chair AdviceFirst
AMP has appointed a Wellington-based adviser as the executive chairman of its Advice First business.

Peter Chote has been appointed to the role. He is a long-standing AdviceFirst Adviser and board member, will report to Nick Scarlett in relation to board responsibilities.
"Chote's substantial experience in the financial services industry and expert knowledge will enable us to achieve our strategic proposition and build on our success to create significant and long-term value for our customers" AMP managing director Jack Regan says.
Chote's career in financial services spans more than 20 years. He is an Authorised Financial Adviser, Chartered Life Underwriter, a current qualifying and life member of MDRT, and is past chair of MDRT Oceania, MDRT NZ, and ex-President of the AXA Advisers Association.
Peter will work with the AdviceFirst team to deliver real growth and connect with even more advisers to use our experience and expertise to help more Kiwis achieve their financial goals.
