Squirrel has appointed Venu Chawdrapu as a managing partner for the New Zealand Indian market.

Monday, February 4th 2013, 9:29AM

He was formerly at Global Finance.

He will be leading the company’s push into the New Zealand Indian market.

Squirrel said it would make a similar appointment to focus on the Chinese market shortly.

Spokesman John Bolton said: “The business grew by 65% last year and we want to do the same again this year. The goal is to write $1 billion a year in Auckland. If we can keep our current growth rate and continue to attract an exceptional team then we should be there within four years."
