Appointment to target Indian community
Squirrel has appointed Venu Chawdrapu as a managing partner for the New Zealand Indian market.

He was formerly at Global Finance.
He will be leading the company’s push into the New Zealand Indian market.
Squirrel said it would make a similar appointment to focus on the Chinese market shortly.
Spokesman John Bolton said: “The business grew by 65% last year and we want to do the same again this year. The goal is to write $1 billion a year in Auckland. If we can keep our current growth rate and continue to attract an exceptional team then we should be there within four years."
