Asteron gets new underwriters
Asteron Life has made some changes to its underwriting team to support growth which has come from last year's product changes.

Errol Timmins has moved into the new role of Chief Underwriter and will oversee the Auckland and Wellington operations. This is a key position for enhancing the consistency of decisions, speed and performance of the entire Asteron Life underwriting team.
Asteron Life has also recruited two new senior underwriters to further bolster the team.
Jazmin Martinez comes from AIA where she has been for the past four years. Prior to that she held senior roles with BNZ Life, AMP and Sovereign.
Mark Grogan joins the team from Tower where he has been contracting for the last few months. Prior to that he managed the underwriting function at Dorchester Life. Grogan is originally from the UK where he spent a number of years at AXA and Aviva prior to arriving in New Zealand 18 months ago.
