Kiwibank GM wealth and insurance resigns

Stuart Bremner has resigned as Kiwibank's General Manager of Wealth and Insurance.
During his tenure Bremner setup and licensed the Kiwi Insurance life insurance business and completed the acquisition and integration of Gareth Morgan Investments (GMI).
"It's been an exciting couple of years," Bremner said. "Looking back it's hard to believe that in such a short period of time I've had the opportunity to build a life insurance business from scratch and complete a major wealth management acquisition.”
"The GMI acquisition is now bedded in and Kiwi Insurance is up, running, and licensed. Both businesses are making a significant financial contribution to the group, have strong teams in place, and continue to go from strength to strength.”
"However, as the businesses now move into a more operational phase I've found myself ready for a new challenge which doesn't require as much time away from my family. At this stage, aside from a family holiday in Fiji, I'm not sure what I'll do next, having worked in finance, technology, investment banking, publishing and private education, there are plenty of possibilities. “
