David Jochem is a Registered Financial Adviser with more than 17 years experience in the financial services sector serving the rural sector, SMEs, families and high-net-worth individuals, most recently in Canterbury.
He began his career in 1997 as a healthcare sales representative advancing within divisions of AON and ACE Insurance respectively across New Zealand. ACE Insurance is one of the world’s largest multiline property and casualty insurers across 54 countries. David held a number of leadership roles with the company culminating in being responsible for running both the Lower North Island and South Island regions for the company before establishing his own insurance risk advisory company ‘Insure’ earlier this year.
“David is an experienced and highly regarded insurance adviser. He has established a successful insurance risk advisory business, predominantly serving the needs of the rural sector, businesses and families," Plus4’s chairman Grant Uridge says. "Given that Plus4 is a cooperative, the only specialist insurance and financial broking firm who is a member of the NZ Cooperatives Association, we are very selective about whom we ask to join our group. Our members need to not only have the necessary experience and expertise but also share our values, as each member has an equal shareholding."
Established in 2008 in Nelson, Plus4 now has over 30 advisers working from 12 locations between Whangarei and Invercargill.
