Boyle is taking up a role with the Commission for Financial Literacy and Retirement Income. The role involves developing a framework for improved financial literacy as well as supporting KiwiSaver and other retirement income options.
"David has had a close association with a large number of external advisers throughout New Zealand, and during that time has seen businesses grow, merge and be sold. He has observed the challenges of the domestic and international markets over the past 20 years, has played a significant role in the success of KiwiSaver within ANZ Investments and has embraced the introduction of a regulatory environment," ANZ Head of Advisory Trisha Edmonds says in an email to advisers.
"Over the past 10 months we have had David work with the team in his role as General Manager and we have valued his input. He is a real champion for retirement savings, KiwiSaver and the value of advice."
Boyle is leaving ANZ in mid-September.
