Coote banks on new role

BNZ Retail Banking has appointed Michael Coote AFA CAIA as Wealth Adviser for its Auckland West stores.
Coote joins BNZ after working as an Auckland based mobile financial adviser at AMP 360. Prior to AMP, Coote was employed at TOWER Managed Funds, first as mezzanine business development manager for investment distribution via wrap platforms, and thereafter as communications manager responsible for media relations and institutional client and KiwiSaver member communications.
Before TOWER, Coote was a seminar presenter and media commentator for the nationwide retail investment advice franchise Money Managers. For many years Coote has also worked as a freelance financial journalist, with his longest-running engagement being a weekly column entitled "On the Money" still published in the National Business Review. "Michael brings a huge depth of experience to his new role as a Wealth Adviser and we look forward to working closely with him, said David Mason, BNZ's Retail Wealth Manager.
