Plus4 expands in Dunedin
Insurance group Plus4 has added another financial adviser in Dunedin.
Thursday, February 5th 2015, 6:00AM
Fiona Keenan has joined the group.
She is an insurance broker who specialises in agribusiness providing personal and business insurance to the rural sector.
She is based in Dunedin but works with clients throughout the South Island.
She began her career with CountryWide Bank in Dunedin and after a decade with the bank joined FMG, the specialist rural insurance provider.
After 15 years with FMG, Keenan established her own business, Keenan Financial Services, in order to provide her clients with a wider range of products.
A member of the New Zealand Financial Advisers’ Association, Fiona has completed the National Certificate in Financial Services (Financial Advice).
Plus4’s chairman Grant Uridge said: “Fiona is an experienced and highly regarded financial services professional. She has built her career on serving the needs of the rural sector, businesses and families. Given that Plus4 is a co-operative, the only specialist insurance and financial broking firm who is a member of the NZ Co-operatives Association, we are very selective about whom we ask to join our group. Our members need to not only have the necessary experience and expertise but also share our values, as each member has an equal shareholding. We are pleased to welcome Fiona to Plus4.”
Plus4 now has more than 30 advisers working from 12 locations between Whangarei and Invercargill.
Group members are not tied to any provider.
