Brett Sutton will join the board of MInt as an Independent Director.
“Brett is an experienced investor with a background in private capital markets and therefore brings a complimentary set of skills to our Board following the appointment of Mark Todd as Chairman last month,” Mint chief executive Rebecca Thomas says.
Sutton is currently a Director of Datacom Group, Stevenson Group, Rangitane Holdings and a Trustee of Special Olympics NZ. His experience includes roles at the NZ Superannuation Fund (where he was Head of Direct Investment), Todd Capital and Coopers and Lybrand.
At Mint he will chair the Audit and Risk Committee.
Mint has more than $450 million funds under management and is on a significant growth path. The company has secured additional institutional funds management portfolios in the past two years and continues to deliver consistently superior risk adjusted year on year results to investors in its Trans-Tasman equity funds.
