NZSF sells investments

The New Zealand Superannuation Fund has sold its investments in three offshore private equity funds.
The investments which have been sold are Hellman & Friedman VII, JMI Equity Fund VII and H.I.G Bayside Loan Opportunities Fund II.
NZ Super Fund Head of Investments Fiona Mackenzie said: “These investments were some of the smaller ones in the Fund and the move to sell them is consistent with our strategy to have fewer, deeper relationships with our investment managers."
She said it was pleasing to realise some of the gains the fund had made in recent years.
