Chief executive Mark Collins said Acton-Adams’ appointment was a coup for the group.
“There’s growing demand in New Zealand for innovative financial products and services, and providing these to Kiwi customers is Liberty’s expertise.
“Rose is integral to our goal of making these products and services more accessible. She is highly respected throughout the financial services industry and has vast knowledge, experience and passion for helping customers.
“Rose will be delivering what Liberty’s business partners and customers demand and expect – fair, fast, fuss-free financial solutions and market-leading service,” he said.
Acton-Adams said Liberty’s strategic approach was very appealing.
“Liberty is changing the way Kiwis access specialty finance, as well as mainstream products. I’ve worked on both sides of the fence, in broking and lending, and the innovation Liberty continues to bring to the New Zealand market is really exciting,” she said.
Liberty’s activities span a lending business established in 2001 and a deposit business established in 2008. It is a leader in providing alternative finance and its secured deposits are investment grade rated at BBB- (positive outlook).
Acton-Adams has extensive financial sector experience in residential banking, business development and mortgage operations. She joins Liberty from Mortgage Express, where she was national business development manager. She has also held roles with Westpac and New Zealand Home Loans.
