Suncorp appoints investment boss
Suncorp has appointed Patrick Farrell as the group's new head of investments, a role which covers New Zealand.

Suncorp operates Vero, AA Insurance and Asteron Life in New Zealand.
Farrell was previously the chief investment officer at BT Financial Group, from 2008 until June 2016.
Farrell will be responsible for the group's portfolio investments and funds under management, and report to the deputy chief financial officer, Jeremy Robson.
He started with Suncorp on July 18.
