BNP appoints advice boss
BNP Paribas Investment Partners has appointed James Langlands as head of its advice business for Australia and New Zealand.

His responsibility will be to grow funds under management for BNP Paribas Investment Partners by working with dealer groups, private wealth firms, family offices, consultant and research houses, platform providers and other key influencers in the market.
He has experience in sales and operating including 15 years with global fund manager BlackRock.
BNP Paribas Investment Partners Australia and New Zealand chief executive David Grybas said: “We look forward to James joining our already robust team. His wealth of experience will be instrumental in broadening the availability of our investment solutions in Australian and global equities, emerging markets, global fixed income and alternatives to the advised segment.”
Langlands starts in the new role in the middle of this month.
