Jenny Edwards recently joined AMP Capital as part of its distribution team.
She has more than 12 year's industry experience and has spent the past four year with NZX as its Operations and Compliance manager for its Smartshares business.
In 2015 Edwards also spent six months working on the FMCA MIS manager licence application for NZX's funds management business.
After graduating from university Edwards spent seven years in London working for various financial organisations including JP Morgan, Cogent and UBS.
Also Vicky Hyde-Smith has been appointed co-head of fixed income at AMP Capital.
She has been promoted into this role earlier this year. In the role she works alongside AMP Capital managing director Grant Hassell.
She joined the firm in 2001 as a fixed income analyst.
"Her experience and strong analytical skills have been the strategic drive behind AMP Capital's fixed income portfolios in New Zealand."
Hyde-Smith has had international experience in the Japanese fixed income market when she joined the proprietary trading team at Sumitomo Finance in London in 1996.
Her new role at AMP Capital is the result of a realignment of AMP Capital's operating model where all New Zealand teams, except property, now report directly to Hassell. Previously they reported to their respective heads in Sydney.
