Fidelity appoints directors
Fidelity Life has expanded its board with the appointment of two new directors - one well-known in the investment and funds management world.

The two new directors are Simon Botherway and Alan Gourdie.
Botherway is a Chartered Financial Analyst, he has held a number of executive and governance roles across companies including ANZ Bank and Brook Asset Management, and spent 12 years managing New Zealand’s largest institutional equities mandates.
He has a broad knowledge of local and global investment markets and regulatory regimes. Botherway was a member of the Securities Commission and chaired the FMA Establishment Board. He currently holds a number of directorships including Callaghan Innovation and is chairman of Serko Limited.
Alan Gourdie is an internationally experienced CEO and marketing
Gourdie is a chief executive and marketing director, who has worked for organisations including Telecom and Heineken. He is currently the managing director of Quantiful, a marketing technology company he founded, focused on the use of big data and machine learning to provide analytics based insights and consumer engagement programmes.
Fidelity Life Chairman Ian Braddock said the new appointments took the board to seven directors and delivered extensive experience and additional depth.
