The national insurance advisory and financial services group says existing board member Roy Norris had been elected chairman succeeding Grant Uridge.
Meanwhile Matt Thomson is the new director on the board.
Thomson has been a member of the group since 2010 and Norris has been a member of the board since early 2015.
“On behalf of Plus4’s members, I acknowledge the contribution outgoing chairman Grant Uridge has made to the group," Plus4 general manger Peter Standish said. Uridge has been Plus4’s chairman for the past five years and under his leadership membership has more than doubled and Plus4 has become a national insurance advisory and financial services group.
Auckland-based Thomson has worked as an insurance broker since 2007. He specialises in insurance for self-employed people and business owners across a range of industries including construction, finance and real estate. He also works with accountants who want smarter insurance solutions for their clients.
Established in Nelson in 2008, Plus4 now has over 45 advisers working from 17 locations between Whangarei and Invercargill. Group members, who have no affiliations to any specific insurance provider, offer unbiased advice tailored to their individual and business clients’ requirements. They work predominantly with small to medium sized enterprises, their owners and their accountants.
