Smartshares hits $2b FUM
NZX exchange-traded funds business Smartshares has ticked over $2 billion in funds under management.

There are now more than 60,000 New Zealanders invested in Smartshares, either directly or via its SuperLife KiwiSaver business, or through financial advisers and investment platforms, Sharesies and Invest Now.
Smartshares product manager Dean Anderson said: "This is another significant achievement for our Smartshares business in 2017 as we continue to deliver a diverse range of low cost investment solutions for investors.
“Surpassing $2 billion in ETF funds under management reflects Smartshares commitment to the development of New Zealand’s passive funds management industry, and demonstrates the potential of this business.”
