Castle Point appoints head of operations

Castle Point appoints a head of operations and looks to make further appointments to assist with distribution and client servicing.

Jenine Briggs will joining us as Head of Operations.

“Castle Point has grown strongly over the past year and hiring Jenine ensures that we have the appropriate resources to continue on this growth path” says Richard Stubbs, Founding Partner. “We think it’s a fantastic endorsement of the future of Castle Point that we have been able to attract such an experienced and respected person as Jenine.”

Briggs was previously Executive Manager Legal Corporate at Suncorp. She has a deep knowledge of the funds management industry having worked on the sales of New Zealand Guardian Trust to The Trust Company Limited, and of Tyndall to Nikko Asset Management.

“I was looking for a commercial role that could also use my experience and this completely fits the bill.” she says, “It is really exciting to join a business at this stage of its development. I was particularly impressed with Castle Point’s investment expertise and client-centric culture”.

Further strengthening of the team is likely over coming months as Castle Point in-houses support functions previously outsourced. “We have recently refreshed the Board and increased our investments in distribution and client servicing” Stubbs says. “These improvements ensure the investment team can stay focused on delivering strong investment performance for our clients.”
