Heathcote has appointed South African Mike Ruetsch as its new Key Account Executive.
Coplestone says Ruetsch has had a lengthy career within the international legal sector, and with "elite global financial institutions". This "makes Mike a unique and valuable resource to assist our retail, wholesale and institutional communities in developing their investment portfolios”.
He has 25 years of international experience in asset management and law. Ruetsch is a qualified UK solicitor and South African attorney and conveyancer. "He has enjoyed a successful career as a Partner in a large South African law firm and in senior roles with the likes of Credit Suisse and Man Investments in Switzerland."
Ruetsch said: “Having dealt with and visited fund distributors around the globe, I was immediately impressed with Heathcote’s funds and importantly their approach to distribution. This was reinforced as I attended the recent Meet The Manger forums. I believe that their manager line-up represents some of the best in class, which together with their process provides a tremendous opportunity."
Ruetsch will be actively travelling throughout the country over the next few weeks to meet with key groups and introduce how the various investment capabilities represented by Heathcote Investment Partners can add value to client’s portfolios.
