PM Capital's Global Companies Fund has been awarded the 2018 Money Management/ Lonsec Fund Manager of the Year Award in the “Long/ Short” category.
The award is judged on managers who have performed well against the benchmark within their category and have strong positive qualitative momentum, as assessed by Lonsec.
PM Capital founder and portfolio manager Paul Moore said “the recognition we have received from Lonsec and Money Management is testament to the hard work that the team at PM Capital has put in, and the returns they have generated for investors over both the long and short term."
The fund uses a high conviction and unconstrained investment style with the goal of producing attractive returns for investors.
“Paul Moore has been a mainstay of Australia’s funds management industry over three decades. Moore’s determined, long term, contrarian perspective has rewarded patient and stoic unitholders,” Lonsec said.
As at 31 December 2017, PM Capital’s global strategy was the number one performer in its peer group over five, six, seven, eight and nine years.
The Global Companies Fund aims to create long term wealth through a concentrated portfolio of 25-45 global companies that we believe are trading at prices different to their intrinsic values.
