Hobson Wealth Partners makes appointments
Wealth advisory firm Hobson Wealth Partners has announced a series of senior hires.

Anna Scott has taken up the newly created executive role of development director, Jude Pereira has been appointed as head of risk and assurance, Edward Porter has joined as a financial adviser and Grant Cotty as senior equity analyst.
As part of her new role Scott will be responsible for driving further change and enhancement to Hobson Wealth’s operations and services, following her recent involvement overseeing the company’s accreditation as a trading and clearing participant of the NZX, and improvement of its international and custody services.
She brings over two decades’ international experience in programme and business management to the role, including time in Kuala Lumpur and, more recently, London, where she held the role of global business manager for JPMorgan’s Investment Bank Currency trading division.
Scott has also stepped on to Hobson Wealth’s Board as a director-appointee, where she will have significant involvement in the company’s broader activities.
With more than 19 years’ experience in legal and compliance risk management, Pereira brings a wide range of technical knowledge and business acumen to the Hobson Wealth team. He has previously held senior roles within Goldman Sachs in London as well as JB Were, Citibank and ASB in NZ.
Cotty comes with an analysis and funds management background having enjoyed roles with NZ Funds Management and, most recently, Treasury in Wellington. As part of the investment team at Hobson Wealth Partners, he will have a specific focus on New Zealand equities and be responsible for recommendations and portfolio construction.
Porter brings over 30 years of industry experience to his new role, spanning a wide range of capital markets, globally and in New Zealand including equities, bond, funds, private equity, and foreign exchange strategies.
