Select Wealth Management has appointed Helen Robertson as Business Development Manager.

Robertson has just done a short stint with Consillium and before that was with UDC in Auckland. She has 30 years’ experience in financial services and previous roles
include retail banking, consumer lending, customer service management, trustee services, marketing and business development.

“Helen’s experience and first-hand knowledge of the investment sales process combined with a solid background in building the financial adviser channel, means she understands the
challenges that financial advisers face,” Select director Andrew Kelleher says.

“In her role as Business Development Manager, Robertson will continue to build on our established relationships with financial advisers and to assist them to grow their businesses through the use of Select Wealth Management’s products and services.”

“Helen also has an important role to play in supporting our financial advisers as they transition to the new regulatory environment, and we look forward to working closely with financial advisers to understand how we can develop solutions that meet their requirements”.

Kelleher says Select’s proposition of utilising its DIMS license, the Select Model portfolios, investment research and management expertise ensure sophisticated investing remains easy for
financial advisers and clients”.

Meanwhile, Select's sales and marketing assistant Tahana Tippett, has accepted an opportunity to attend a post-graduate course at the University of California, Berkeley.

The study grant has been provided by Tuaropaki Trust and will involve four to five months of study in the first half of 2019.

Tippett has been with Select Wealth since March 2017 and has played an important role in building relationships with financial advisers, Kelleher says”.

He will return to the business in mid-2019.
