Trustees Executors appointment affirms private wealth commitment
Trustees Executors has appointed a new national manager of trusts and estates.

It said the appointment of Maryanne Fogarty signalled its commitment to growing its private wealth service.
Based in Wellington, Fogarty will oversee the trust management team nationally, as well as provide client management, distribution and product management expertise with a focus on business growth and process improvement.

This is an exciting time for our business as we embark on a significant growth phase, and Maryanne brings outstanding capability and expertise, which will make her a valuable addition to our Private Wealth team,” said Ryan Bessemer, TEL’s chief executive.
With an extensive background in trust and estate management in both New Zealand and Australia, Fogarty has spent the last four years as senior manager, estates at Equity Trustees in Melbourne; where she led the national estate management team, and was responsible for B2B relationship management, coaching, mentoring, change and risk management.
“Our trust and estate business is what Trustees Executors was built on 138 years ago and today remains central to our continuing success. Maryanne’s appointment gives us the opportunity to continue building on these foundations and strengthen our retail client offering into the future,” Bessemer said.
As at December 2018 Trustees Executors Private Wealth had $1.5 billion funds and assets under management. This ranges from investment portfolios and assets held on behalf of trusts, estates, individuals, families, and charities.
