Newly rebranded adviser group Finzo has been officially certified by CEFEX, the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence for the provision of fiduciary Investment Support Services.
The CEFEX certification is an independent recognition of Finzo’s commitment to the prudent practices required to provide support to fiduciaries. It is a hallmark accomplishment for Finzo as it signifies conformity to a recognised global standard of fiduciary excellence.
Finzo is among the first organisations globally to successfully complete this type of independent certification process.
“They have earned the right to use the CEFEX Mark which indicates the firm’s established practices are aligned with investors’ interests and worthy of trust and confidence,” CEFEX Managing Director Carlos Panksep says.
This standard specifies how a firm can help investors and fiduciaries manage the overall investment management process, including the selection and monitoring of investment managers as well as developing processes to implement investment strategies and fiduciary practices on an ongoing basis.
Finzo is the second firm in New Zealand and one of the only 14 firms globally to achieve this prudent certification to provide fiduciary adviser support services including asset allocation, provider selection due diligence, monitoring, administrative support and adviser processes for client engagement.
