Newpark chief executive Melanie Purdey said Peter Lycett has years of experience as a successful adviser and business developer.
He is an AFA and former litigator from the UK.
“Peter’s personal brand aligns with Newpark’s vision to become the most trusted group brand in New Zealand for non-aligned financial advisers.
“His legal background will be immeasurably valuable as we work with our Advisers to help translate the regulations, legislation and code in the new environment. Peter’s work developing new markets for financial advice in New Zealand will be integral in the build and delivery of Newpark’s enhanced business development programmes.”
He said he was thrilled to be part of the Newpark team in a period of transition for advisers.
“I look forward to supporting each adviser in their professional development so that they can grow their businesses while also providing good customer outcomes by helping their clients to negate the financial uncertainties of life.”
He will work closely with Steve Parsons, adviser success manager, and the rest of the Newpark team.
