The company (ASX: JHG) has signed a distribution agreement with Heathcote Investment Partners to expand its presence in the New Zealand market.
The partnership, which commenced in August 2019, builds upon the firms’ existing relationship, having worked together over the last two years on the “Meet the Manager” roadshows across New Zealand.
Clayton Coplestone, Director of Heathcote Investment Partners, commented that “Heathcote is extremely excited to represent one of the world’s largest and longest standing fund managers in the New Zealand market. The combination of sound investment processes, longevity and unique global equity capabilities make the Janus Henderson Investors funds extremely relevant for most investment portfolios.”
Janus Henderson Head of Australia, Matt Gaden, says: “We have spent a significant period of time appraising the New Zealand market and considering our most effective access point. The time is now right to take a more active role in building our presence in New Zealand and the partnership with Heathcote Investment Partners provides the reach and capabilities we need in the market.”
