Laurence Kubiak
Trustees Executors has appointed Laurence Kubiak as an independent director to support its growth and transformation strategy.
He is an accomplished business executive with extensive global experience. Kubiak has managed and built high-performing businesses in various sectors, including telecommunications, energy and technology.
Kubiak is currently chief executive of the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research which undertakes independent economic analysis and fosters debate on economic issues affecting New Zealand society. He is a director of electricity contracting and network business Northpower, and is chairman of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.
Prior to this he spent 14 years in the UK at BT Global Services which is the ICT partner for many of the world’s large multinational corporations.
