According to Salt's managing director Paul Harrison, the move is part of Salt’s commitment towards meeting client demand for a broader range of product which to date, has included the creation of the Salt Sustainable Global Shares Fund with Morgan Stanley Investment Management as the underlying investment manager, and Salt Sustainable Global Listed Infrastructure Fund and Salt Sustainable Global Listed Property Fund, with Cohen & Steers as the underlying investment manager.
"Greg’s appointment to Salt enables us to further build out our team that will manage the recently launched diversified funds, the Salt Sustainable Growth Fund, and the Salt Sustainable Income Fund," Harrison says.
"A key part of Salt’s growth strategy has been to attract the best people to achieve our aspirations. We believe that Greg’s experience and skills make him the ideal person to drive the next phase of our development.
“Greg’s skill as an investment strategist, focus on client outcomes and ability to contribute to the efforts of our wider team makes him a valuable addition to Salt,” Harrison says.
Greg Fleming will take up his new role in May and follows on from the appointment of Greg McMaster as Salt's head of client partnerships in September of last year, and Bevan Graham, who joined Salt Funds Management as the firm’s economist in February.
