Milford has appointed Rohaan Mohanty as a new business development manager in its intermediary team.
Mohanty joins Milford after 11 years working in financial markets, most recently as an Investment Adviser at Craigs Investment Partners, and before that as foreign exchange dealer for Bank of New Zealand and American Express in Auckland.
He will be responsible for servicing Milford’s Intermediary clients, working alongside the Head of Intermediary Distribution Michael Robson.
Robson says “Rohaan joins the team at an exciting time. Milford’s Intermediary channel has grown significantly over the past two and half years with funds under management increasing $825 million. This is the result of more financial advisers selecting Milford’s actively managed investment solutions to support their clients in achieving their goals.”
“Milford is one of the investment managers of choice for New Zealand’s financial advisers," he says.
"Rohaan’s experience and knowledge will help support our adviser relationships as we continue to provide market leading solutions for financial advisers.”
Milford’s Intermediary channel launched a KiwiSaver Advice Facilitation service two years ago, providing advisers with the ability to charge an advice fee where approved by the client in conjunction with Milford’s KiwiSaver Plan. Since the service was launched over 95 financial advice providers have established an agreement with Milford.
