Former Fidelity exec joins Cigna

Cigna has appointed Fidelity's former national sales manager to its team.

Peter Mensah, a well-known face in the adviser market, has joined Cigna as its business partnership manager.

He spent 14 years at Fidelity Life where he held a variety of roles including national sales manager. Most recently, he was the distribution manager at PIC Insurance Brokers.

Cigna general manager of distribution, David Haak says Mensah has an impressive set of skills, relationships and an energy that will be critical for Cigna’s business.

“Peter’s experience working closely with advisers over many years as well as his time spent working at a broker firm will bring a fresh perspective to our team.

“I look forward to working alongside Peter as we continue to expand Cigna’s presence and open up new opportunities in the adviser market,” says Haak.

Mensah says in his role he will be promoting the Cigna brand and further developing its relationships with advisers.
