Highly experience director takes over Milford chair; TEA gets HR man
Milford gets highly experienced chairman; Trustees Executors gets FMA man.

Gavin Walker is to take over as chairman of Milford Asset Management following the retirement of Mark Cross.
Cross joined the board in March 2013 and was appointed as chairman in November 2015. In his time on the board the firm has gone from $2 billion under management to nearly $17 billion.
Walker only joined the board four months as its longer-term succession planning which also included the appointment of Carolyn Colley in October.
Walker has deep experience in the financial services industry.
He was the founding chief executive/managing director of Bankers Trust New Zealand and later appointed CEO of Bankers Trust Investment Bank Australia, as well as being a member of Bankers Trust New York’s Global Business Council.
Previous senior governance positions held within the banking, funds management and securities industries include: ASB Bank chairman, chairman of Commonwealth Securities (CommSec) - Australasia’s largest online retail stock broking business, Guardian/chairman of New Zealand Superannuation Fund and chairman of ASB Bank – Investment Committee, with responsibility for the investment and risk management oversight of the bank’s retail funds management business.

FMA HR man joins Trustees Executors
Trustees Executors has appointed Cameron Stewart as General Manager, People and Culture.
He has extensive experience leading high performing HR teams as well as working with executive teams and partner groups. He has spent four years at the Financial
Markets Authority where he partnered with the regulator’s frontline functions in a senior HR role.
Before that he spent four and a half years at PwC in Wellington providing HR support and partnering with PwC’s deals and consulting practice. He has also worked in HR, recruitment and financial services roles in Australia and the UK.
TEA chief executive Ryan Bessemer said: “Cam has deep operational and strategic HR experience gained from working in diverse business environments in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
“With his focus on organisational culture and staff engagement, leadership and performance development, employment relations and organisational change, Cam will be a valuable addition to the group leadership team at Trustees Executors.”
