Resolution Life Australasia, formerly AMP Life, has appointed Graeme Edwards as New Zealand general manager and Australasia customer experience lead.
Edwards will join the company in July and will be a key member of the New Zealand leadership team reporting to the chief customer and operating officer, Paul Tarlinton, who was also recently appointed.
Previous chief executive Thérèse Singleton left recently to become Ando Insurance Group chief executive.
Edwards will be responsible for overseeing the New Zealand operations and representing Resolution Life Australasia’s New Zealand policyholders. He was previously at Southsure Assurance and before that was AIA New Zealand country manager.
Resolution Life Australasia chief executive Megan Beer said: “Graeme brings with him a wealth of experience in financial services with a successful track record in developing high performance teams and creating strong customer centric cultures.
“These appointments will play an important part in the ongoing evolution of our customer offering and will set us up well as we pursue our ambition to be the leading in-force specialist life insurer in Australasia by being a data driven, digital and customer focused business.”
