Heartland Bank appoints new director
Heartland Bank will appoint Simon Tyler as new independent non-executive director.

Tyler’s experience in the banking sector spans more than 35 years in treasury including senior treasury and financial market roles within the National Bank of New Zealand and RBNZ.
His most recent position was chief executive of the Government Superannuation Fund Authority and the National Provident Fund.
Currently, he is an independent director of the audit committee of IHC New Zealand, a director of Palliser Estate Wines in Martinborough Limited and a trustee of the Fale Malae Trust and the University of Otago Foundation Trust.
His contribution as additional independent director to Heartland Bank will add depth of skill and experience to the board.
His appointment is effective on 8th November 2022.
