Mint Asset Management appoints new role
Mint Asset Management appoints Rachel Tinkler as Head of Responsible Investment.

She will drive responsible practices and lead the company in its corporate responsibility initiatives. She will be responsible for further developing the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors and strategy across the Mint portfolios.
Rachel holds key experience in ESG analysis and process integration, stewardship and engagement, sustainability disclosures and reporting, and critical evaluation of regulatory changes in Aotearoa’s environmental, social and cultural landscape.
In her previous position, Sustainable Investment Analyst at Milford Asset Management,
Rachel’s key achievements were implementing a responsible investing framework for the investment team to manage ESG risks. Additionally, the creation of Milford’s first public disclosure documents summarising these engagements.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Business (BBus) from Auckland University of Technology. Additionally, she is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 and an enrolled Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
This follows the recent appointment of a new Analyst within the Australasian Equities Team, Sam Arcand who joined in October.
Sam holds a conjoint Bachelor of Laws & Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Finance) from Victoria University of Wellington, a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) in Finance from the University of Auckland and is a CFA Charterholder.
