AIA adds new BDM
AIA has appointed a new business development manager for the Northern region.

Claire Dalton is AIA's new regional manager – business development for the Northern region.
Before joining AIA NZ, Dalton was national sales manager for Audi New Zealand, working with the dealer network to achieve their respective retail targets. Though she has predominantly worked in the financial services area of the automotive industry for most of her career – her first job out of school was at an insurance broker.
“It’s full circle for me in some ways and I’m excited to take on the challenge of a new industry. I am passionate about exceptional customer service and helping my teams meet their personal and professional goals – I’ve heard great things about AIA’s culture, so I’m excited to get stuck in,” says Dalton.
Sharron Botica, AIA NZ chief partnership distribution officer, says “Claire has a wealth of leadership, coaching and relationship management experience. She comes to AIA from a different, but extremely competitive industry, and her expertise and fresh thinking will be invaluable to the ongoing success of our already high performing business development team.”
