Big changes at NZX's platform business
NZX Wealth Technologies has made a number of organisational changes to help it grow.

NZX Wealth Technologies (NZXWT) has made "organisational" changes to ensure it retains its focus on continually developing its platform to meet the needs of New Zealand wealth advisers.
Chief executive Lisa Turnbull says “these organisational changes will help us focus on improving our services further and meeting the growing and changing needs of our clients and New Zealand wealth advisers, while utilising the skills and experience of the Wealth Tech team and offering career growth opportunities.”
The business has recruited Jarrod McDonald as a business development manager. His role is to engage with wealth managers throughout New Zealand and work with them to develop solutions for the business issues they face managing client portfolios.
Martin Cantell moves into a new role, chief functional architect, and Kelly Good has been promoted into head of product.
Cantell’s role will focus on the long-term strategic functional development of the platform. He will engage with clients to understand key functional improvements they see and will assess platform developments In New Zealand and internationally to identify potential enhancements. This includes assessing the impact of regulatory and other changes in the New Zealand marketplace. Martin will also work as a solution consultant with prospects.
Good’s role is to lead the team of the NZXWT functional consultants, who own the design of the functional components of the platform. The team’s focus is on scheduling and developing new functional elements for the platform.
