by Kerry Meadows-Bonner

Prior to joining Fidelity Life, Baker was director of data and analytics at FTI Consulting. Before that she was senior vice president of global management information and data analytics at Citigroup where she led automation of the bank’s internal audit reporting systems and self-service analytics capability.

Fidelity chief financial officer Simon Pennington says it’s an exciting time to be welcoming someone of Baker’s calibre to the business, as the company has several data-led projects currently underway.

He says she brings strong technical and leadership skills, coupled with a great understanding of regulatory reporting, having spent more than 10 years in the financial services sector.

“Her experience in leading and developing advanced analytics and reporting for some of the world’s biggest consulting and financial services entities will be invaluable as our new data platform nears completion.”

He says under Baker’s leadership, Fidelity Life’s data and analytics team will deliver improved insights for the business.
