Milford appoints new board member
Hong Kong-based chief executive returning to New Zealand to take up board position at Milford.

Lindsay Wright has joined the Milford board as a director.
She is currently the chief executive of Sun Hung Kai Capital Partners Limited based in Hong Kong. She will leave this role and return to New Zealand by May 1 next year.
Milford chairman Anthony Quirk said “Lindsay’s extensive experience over a long period in the global funds management industry will add significant value to our business in both New Zealand and Australia."
Wright is looking forward to joining the board of a fast-growing manager like Milford.
“The emphasis on client alignment and service is exceptional, as well as the fantastic client outcome track record achieved through active management.
Wright is currently a non–executive director of NZX (NZX:NZ), chair of its Audit and Risk Committee and member of the Clearing House Committee and a non-executive director of Navigator Global Investments (ASX:NGI).
Her previous governance roles have included deputy chair and audit committee chair of the NZ Super Fund, a board member and member of the financial, audit and disclosure committee at Kiwibank and a board member of GMI Wealth.
Previous executive roles include co-head of APAC BNY Mellon Investment Management, head of institutional and investment solutions APAC Invesco, head of Asia and Global COO, head of strategy and business development Matthews Asia and CEO Harvest Alternatives and head of strategy Harvest Fund Management (Beijing) - all based in Hong Kong.
She spent 23 years with Bankers Trust / Deutsche Asset Management in various senior leadership roles spanning Auckland, Sydney, Tokyo, Singapore and New York.
