Wednesday, April 24th 2024, 9:40AM

Andrew Logan has joined Lifetime as its chief executive and will be reporting directly to managing director Peter Cave.

Logan for many years headed up Australian-based CRM business IRESS in New Zealand then left to run his own business manufacturing golf bags.

Although he has been out of the industry for a while he has more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, with roles that have spanned national advisory capacities, management, and business development across various sectors, including banking and insurance.

Logan's expertise in the fintech sector, particularly in wealth management, underscores his ability to leverage technology to enhance financial services, the company says in a statement.

"This experience positions him perfectly to steer Lifetime's initiatives in delivering outstanding client experiences. With a strategic emphasis on integrating innovative digital solutions, Andrew is poised to keep Lifetime at the forefront of client engagement and operational excellence."

Logan says Lifetime is doing "amazing things". "I see my role as CEO to seek ongoing improvements in operational efficiency and advice delivery as we aim to provide greater financial certainty to more New Zealanders."

Logan's addition to the team allows Cave to increase his focus on strategic growth initiatives for Lifetime. Cave says Logan’s "deep understanding of business operations, combined with his people-first approach and dedication to continuous improvement, align closely with our company values. His appointment further strengthens our senior leadership team, as we look to build a long-term sustainable business model for all stakeholders."
