TAM replaces its CIO

Tower Asset Management (TAM) has made several new appointments to strengthen its Australian investment operations.Guy Hutchings has taken over as general manager, investments, for Australia. He will have specific responsibility in Australia for integrating client strategy with portfolio design and structure, manager selection and monitoring.
Hutchings was a senior investment manager with the BHP Pension Plan in Melbourne for the past four years and prior to that was an Australian equity manager for FAI.
Craig Turnbull, who was previously chief investment officer, has left TAM to pursue other interests.
Jo-anne Nelson takes up the position of manager, institutional business early in December.
Penny Chin will join Marilyn Watts on the fixed income desk in mid-November. Chin brings several years’ experience in economic analysis and fixed income portfolio management, most recently with National Asset Management in Melbourne.
Her appointment increases TAM’s ability to add value in fixed income trading and credit analysis.
Jeremy Curtin is a portfolio analyst in the middle office. Jeremy is a new graduate from Sydney University.
