Macquarie Private Wealth has three additions

Macquarie Private Wealth has made three additions to its Auckland Retail Advisory team as it continues to build capability to service the strong demand for its wealth management services.Richard Inder has joined the Retail Advisory team in partnership with Macquarie associate director Rob Gwyther. Inder brings 14 years of experience covering financial markets in New Zealand and Europe to Macquarie. He is a former New Zealand Herald Business Editor and columnist. He returned to New Zealand in early 2004 from London after five years writing for Dow Jones newswires and The Daily Mail. His work has also appeared in the Wall Street Journal and Forbes Magazine.
Rob Hawkins has joined Macquarie as an associate partner with senior adviser Ian Witters. He emigrated to New Zealand after 9 years in banking in London, the last seven of which were spent as as a private client advisor with London broker Killik & Co. Hawkins raised in Durban, South Africa and is a University of Natal commerce graduate. He is a keen sportsman having represented South Africa in the under 21 hockey up to 1991, when an injury curtailed his Olympic dream.
Mark Martin will work as assistant to advisers Brad Gordon and Tony Sutherland. Martin has just returned from London after six years working for a number of leading financial institutions including UBS, Deutsche bank, HSBC and Schroders. Martin is a member of the London Stock Exchange. He also has three years working in credit consolidation with AGC Finance. His spare time is spent on the golf course or the tennis court.
