Finance companies have a new voice at the Financial Services Federation, with former Westpac lobbyist Kirk Hope taking on board the duties as executive director.
Hope will lead the federation's policy development and work to foster relations with business and consumer groups for the outfit that represents 37 finance companies, building societies and other major financial service providers.
He has previously headed up operations in Westpac's Wellington metro area, and before that was the bank's lead person in government relations and regulatory affairs.
