Morningstar appoints head of Asia-Pacific fund research
Morningstar has appointed Grant Kennaway to the newly created position of head of fund research, Asia-Pacific.

Kennaway will be responsible for developing Morningstar’s fund research business in the Asia-Pacific region, including New Zealand and Australia, working closely with Morningstar’s global fund research organisation in Chicago, Toronto, London and other European markets.
"Grant is a respected member of the Australian investment research community, with a global outlook and strong commitment to quality investment analysis," said Morningstar Australasia chief executive Anthony Serhan.
Morningstar fund research president Don Phillips said the appointment, "demonstrates our commitment to bringing Morningstar's strengths in independent research and analysis to fund investors worldwide."
"Grant will play a key role in helping us strengthen our capability in the Asia-Pacific region," he said.
Kennaway was previously general manager, research, for Lonsec and will join Morningstar in November.
