BNZ nabs Auckland City boss

The current chief executive of the Auckland City Council, Doug McKay, is joining the BNZ board as a non-executive director.
BNZ chairman John Waller says, in a statement, that McKay brings considerable commercial experience to the board.
McKay will step down from Auckland Council in December. He is the Super City's inaugural CEO and was appointed to the role in 2010.
Previously McKay was the chief executive and and executive chairman Independent Liquor; CEO at Sealord, and held senior roles at Carter Holt Harvey, Lion Nathan and Goodman Fielder.
