ANZ appoints private banking boss
ANZ has appointed Manfred Liechti as managing director global private banking.

He will report to Joyce Phillips, the bank's chief executive of global wealth.
It means John Body, who has been overseeing ANZ's global private baking business in an acting capacity since August 2012, returns to his role as managing director of wealth in New Zealand.
Phillips said: “Fred is a career banker with extensive international experience in both wealth and private banking. We’re delighted to attract someone of his calibre to the role."
Liechti has experience in banking in Switzerland, London, Sydney and Singapore.
He starts with ANZ today.
