Peter Rickards from Nelson and Timaru-based Ross Collett replace Alan Bradnock and Roger Adams who remain members of the group. The other board members are directors Grant Uridge and Jason Hennessey.
Rickards is a Certified Financial Planner with more than 20 years experience in the financial industry. His experience includes working for Louis Dreyfus managing their Australian farming operations and as a director of a large merchant bank, before going into business himself. In 2002, he returned to the financial services industry and subsequently purchased a successful brokerage company in Nelson.
Collett is a Registered Financial Adviser providing personal insurance advice and principal of Sorted for Life Insurance, which he established in 2008. He began his financial services career in Christchurch in 1987 as an independent insurance representative. He has been growing his practice in South Canterbury since 1990 and has established a well known and trusted brand. He is a Member of the Professional Advisers Association Inc (PAA) and has qualified for Membership of the Million Dollar Round Table since 2000.
Established in 2008 in Nelson, Plus4 now has over 30 advisers working from 12 locations between Whangarei and Invercargill. Group members, who have no affiliations to any specific insurance provider, offer unbiased advice tailored to their individual and business clients’ requirements. They work predominantly with small to medium sized enterprises, their owners and their accountants.
Plus4’s chairman Grant Uridge said, “We welcome Peter back onto the Plus4 board, a former director he co-founded Plus4 with Alan Bradnock, and also look forward to working with Ross."
