New director for FDRS
Financial Dispute Resolution Service has made a change at the top.

Trevor Slater has been promoted to become the organisation's client director.
Financial Dispute Resolution Service said his experience in the sector made him a natural fit to lead.
Financial Dispute Resolution Service is an approved dispute resolution scheme for financial service providers in New Zealand.

As client director of Financial Dispute Resolution Service, Slater will lead the team of facilitators, mediators, and adjudicators who are experts in complaint handling, and have specialist training in the finance sector.
“When issues arise, both financial service providers and their customers want to get it sorted. FDRS has a great reputation for resolving matters efficiently, while preserving the relationship. It’s great to be part of a hands-on team that’s helping parties in dispute move forward,” he said.
Slater recently finished contracting as the general manager to the financial compliance company IDS Limited. Before joining IDS, Trevor was the general manager of Financial Services Complaints Limited (FSCL).
