Good Returns' columnist takes out top award
The Financial Services Council and Workplace Savings handed out awards to industry leaders and funds at its conference last week. Here are all the winners.

Chatswood Consulting director, and Good Returns' columnist, Russell Hutchinson has been awarded the Shaping the Future Award at the FSC Conference award last week.
The award is given to an individual who has consistently demonstrated industry leadership, proactively advocating for market change and a future focus.
Fidelity Life's Mark Daniels won the Rising Star Award. This is for someone who has shown tangible growth and development over the previous 12 months making a real difference to the industry while early in their career.
ANZ Wealth general manager Ana-Marie Lockyer took out the Diversity Award. This is given to someone who walks the talk when it comes to diversity.
The other FSC award, the Innovation Award, when to AMP Rachel Macdonald who has taken the initiative to lift professionalism in the industry by addressing a big issue or industry challenge.
"Awards shine the light on excellence and help the entire industry learn how to do things better. The awards are aspirational and inspire us all to deliver strong and sustainable consumer outcomes. This year’s winners reflect the strength and depth of talent in the industry," FSC chief executive Richard Klipin said.
Workplace Savings also handed out awards for communications, best PDS and overall KiwiSaver member experience.
The winners were:
- Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) of the Year; ASB KiwiSaver Scheme
- Most Innovative Communication; Picture Your Retirement, Mercer
- Best Overall KiwiSaver Member Experience; Future You, Kiwi Wealth
- Workplace Savings Excellence in Communication; Future You, Kiwi Wealth
