New chief investment officer for ANZ Investments
ANZ Investments has appointed Paul Huxford as its chief investment officer, effective immediately.
Wednesday, July 11th 2018, 10:35AM
He has been in an acting role since March, when he took over from Graeme Ansell and said at the time that it was an opportunity for him to understand the organisation, as he applied for the permanent position.
ANZ Wealth managing director Craig Mulholland said Huxford had an impressive international track record, leading large teams in global markets.
Huxford previously held senior global research roles with JP Morgan (including Managing Director - Europe, Middle East and Africa Equities Research), as well as with Macquarie Bank and Bankers Trust/DeutscheBank in Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
"This international perspective is increasingly important to our growing funds management business as we work to continue to deliver consistently good investment performance for our KiwiSaver members, Private Banking and wholesale investment clients,” Mulholland said.
“Paul’s international experience will complement the 300-plus years’ experience and proven track record of our Investment Management team.”
