The group has hired Martis to add to its presence in Auckland. Martis has about 14 years of experience in the mortgage and banking sectors, the group said. He is described as an expert in the Auckland market.
The hire comes months after Mortgage Express signed a JV with Aussie group Astute, which will give Mortgage Express brokers access to a stronger technology platform.
Following the deal, Sarah Johnston became CEO of the Australian group. Mortgage adviser industry veteran David Gopperth took on the role of Mortgage Express General Manager.
David Gopperth said the new appointment would boost residential and commercial business: "Anish has already established good relationships with lenders on both the residential and commercial side. He has a solid financial background and the skills and knowledge to assist clients achieve a favourable outcome.”
